Chocolate Brownies

These are the best brownies! They are simple to make,  gooey to eat, chocolaty, and they are simply lush. Have them on there own, or serve warm with ice cream, you just can’t go wrong.

75g Baking Margarine

40g Cocoa Powder

225g Caster Sugar

2 Eggs

50g Plain Flour

Melt the margarine in a pan on a low heat. Once melted, add in the sugar until fully dissolved. Then add in the cocoa.

Remove from the heat, and add in your eggs and mix. Then mix in your flour and combine altogether.

Place in a tray bake tin, or brownie tray fully greased and bake at 150°C/300°F/ Gas Mark 2 for an hour. These brownies are exception to the bake until the knife comes out clean rule, as we want our brownies to be gooey in the middle. So remove from the oven when there is still a little mixture on your knife when checking if its cooked.

Leave to cool slightly before cutting into portions. Have as a snack, or serve with ice cream as a dessert. Hint, these are amazing with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. Mmmmmm enjoy!
